Stephen Prothero is a Professor of Religion at Boston University specializing in religion and culture. He received his BA from Yale College in American Studies and his MA and PhD from Harvard University in the Study of Religion. His New York Times bestseller Religious Literacy: What Every American Needs to Know-and Doesn't won a 2007 Quill Book Award. As the Wesley Foundation at Georgia Tech continues to work for access to religious studies classes for Tech students, Dr. Prothero's writings offer persuasive evidence as to why religious literacy is so crucial in our day and age.

Bill Landiss
The Landiss Lecture Series is named after Dr.
C. William "Bill" Landiss Jr., director of the Wesley Foundation at
Georgia Tech from 1962 until 1996. The goal of the lecture series is
to foster dialogue between the disciplines of science, technology,
and religion, and to address ethical issues raised by advancements
in science and technology.
