Core Group Offerings

Core groups are our weekly small group gatherings on Tuesday evenings. They are divided by class, and feature check-ins and fellowship activities as well as a short Bible study. We are committed to growing closer to God and one another while also going on fun trips throughout the year!

All core groups are on Tuesdays immediately after service in the Wesley building, roughly from 8:30 - 9:30.

          - Freshley: First year students (transfer students welcome).
                - Leaders: Nick Flatt and Ava Slaughter
          - Secondley: Second year students.
                - Leaders: Sam Hopson and Gabby Wilkinson
          - Lastley: Third year students and beyond.

What are small groups?

Small groups are more personal groups focused on deep dives into scripture and complex theological topics. These change from semester to semester, and meet at varying times. Stay tuned for our Spring 2025 offerings!

Spring 2025 Small Group Offerings

Faith and Mental Health

Join us in the Faith and Mental Health Small Group as we explore scripture, study biblical figures, and dive into books and memoirs on mental health, mental health challenges, and Christianity. We aim to grow in our faith by having hard but real conversations about the mental well-being of the Church, faithful responses to psychological hardship, and God's role in it all.   ​

Time: Wednesdays from 5:00 - 6:00 PM.

Spiritual Lessons of the Old Testament

We will be reading Ellen Davis's "Getting Involved with God: Rediscovering the Old Testament". With this book, we will journey through the old testament and discuss the lessons we can use in our faith walks.
